Job Advert SummaryThe role is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to the Regional Office – Rundu, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office. The role further contributes to operational effectiveness by ensuring adherence to administrative procedures, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering high-quality support services to the Regional team.
Education, Experience and Skills RequirementsA National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Accounting/Business Management/Business Administration/Economics.A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in banking or related sector.Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.Absolute integrity, honesty, reliability and trustworthiness.Ability to deal with confidential information.Good communication skills (verbal and written) and sound interpersonal skills.Sound administrative and time management skills.Excellent customer service orientation.Team worker.Computer literate and familiar with all MS Office applications
Key Performance AreasProvide front-desk client services, including dealing with telephone calls, visiting clients and administering the mailing services.Provide secretarial support, including drafting correspondence, administering meetings, assisting with and communicating the travel arrangements of the regional staff.Provide support to clients with the application process and verify that all necessary documents are included and provide guidance on alternative solutions for clients who do not meet the requirements.Capture and maintain accurate client information on the banking system.Liaise closely with departmental units to follow up on outstanding information, documents or reports as required and inform the relevant officials of updates on applications, deadlines and events arising.Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of the office, furniture and equipment and provide reports to the Operations Support Unit when required.Receive and address complaints regarding the application process and direct it to the appropriate resource for further action if required.Maintain a well-kept and upto- date physical and electronic filing system according to the procedures of the Bank.
